Boop is a free, local-first iPhone utility that reads supported data from compatible WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG straps over Bluetooth, processes it on your phone, and writes permitted records to Apple Health—without a Boop account, Boop cloud, advertising, or app analytics.

Boop is not a medical device. Outputs may be approximate and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment.

Boop is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WHOOP. WHOOP names are used only to state factual device compatibility.

Diagnostics

Inspect what the strap is holding.

Signal strength, contact times, battery, and per-type record counts stay local so you can verify the handoff before it reaches Apple Health.

Signal → Apple Health type

Available types still depend on iOS, region, hardware, and the permissions you grant. Derived values are labeled as estimates where Health metadata allows.
